Get/Store array of bytes in varbinary mysql

Hi,

I need to have a array() of byte stored in a varbinary field in mysql. (and
get it back). But how to pass it from VB to MYSQL in a update statement. Saw
samples with @variables but i cannot get it working.

Please help,
