get rid of update icon

I un-installed a recent update (KB911567) after having mail problems & now
the icon is on my taskbar to re-install it. After going thro trying to
figure out why my mail was screwy, I don't want this back. I did go to the
Windows Update page & unless I am looking right at it, can't see it. Thanks
for any help
