Get booted off Web

When I access the internet, a box appears saying NT
authority system remote procedure call. It locks up the
computer and then I have to power off the computer by
unplugging it. Does anyone know what this error code is,
or what the problem may be. This is a relatively new
computer, and is H.P. desktop computer. Thanks, John.
 
I just upgraded from win 98 and I am having the same problem. The same error message appears. Did you discover what it is
