after the last update in which microsoft can tell whether you have a real
copy of windows or not, it told me on my log in screen that my copy was not
real and i need to get a real one. My copy is real, i just bought it and
registered it. So i clicked "fix this problem later" and since then nothing
has come up, am i good? or do i still need to call and straighten it out?
thanks for the help

Visit www.microsoft.com/genuine and revalidate.
Reboot your computer after this is done.

(Sometimes revalidating and rebooting correctly syncs the Windows library files)

See what happens when you restart your computer tomorrow, assuming you
shut it off tonight. And check again with the Windows Update site.
There is a new version of the WGA software out today which may resolve
your problem.

Good luck

You thinking what I am thinking will appear in the TaskBar?

The latest update to WGA has been reported as having accepted as valid
a number of systems that were previously flagged.

I am hoping that this system will become one of those.
