Mike

I am using Windows XP Home Edition.

When I cold boot, it seems to run normally, but after
about one minute, I receive an error: Generic Host
Process for Win32.. do you want to send an error report.
I selected Send error report. It says it generated two
files for the report" appcompat.txt &
svchost.exe.mdmp . Then a critical error appears
stating it will reboot the computer in 1:00 minutes -
Remote procedure call service has terminated. NT
AUTHORITY/SYSTEM. It ticks down to zero, then reboots
the computer. When it reboots, the whole process starts
all over again.

I tried to find the two files generated by the error
report, but I cant find them. I cant find anything that
relates to my situation in the knowledge base.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Mike
