General/Medium Dates

When using MS Access you can use the General & Medium date
formats. Where in the PC are these formats set. Regional
Options in the CP gives the Long & Short Date formats but
not the other two.
 
Medium Date format is unique in Access. I got a feeling General Date is the
same. Generally, I don't use these 2 formats. If I need something special,
I use the formatting characters.
