I am having problems getting Windows defender to work on windows 2000, I know
I need to install the GDI+, I have downloaded it, and now I can't firgure out
where to put the files after I extract them. Any ideas?

You might want to post to a windows 2000 newsgroup or to the newsgroup
for Windows Defender. Here is a list of MS Public Newsgroups that has
the windows 2000 newsgroups listed:

The Windows Defender newsgroups are accessible through the web at:

Please post in one of the newsgroups specifically set up for the beta
(software that isn't finished and is still in the bug-checking phase)
Windows Defender program. Microsoft.public.windowsxp.general is not one of
them.

These newsgroups can be accessed via NNTP or HTTP.

To access these newsgroups using NNTP, please use the following information
for your NNTP client (such as Microsoft Outlook Express):

- NNTP Server: privatenews.microsoft.com

- Password: spyware

NOTE: No password will be required via the HTTP link.
