games shutting off

Intermittenly, whilst playing games I have installed, the
computer decides it wants no more and returns back to the
windows desktop. No explanation, no error messages,
nothing. The computer is way over the spec for the games.
Finding this extremely annoying as all game info is lost
and not saved - it may happen after 5 mins or 1 hour.
please help before the computer gets it.

got the same problem. don't know where it came from or
why it begun.
 
You can go into Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer and click on
Application in the left pane, which will reveal activity in the right pane.
Look for error messages, which you can right-click and then select
Properties to see a portion of the error. This could point you to the
direction of a solution, which is generally hardware related, including, but
not limited to, needing to update your graphics and sound card drivers.
