Games on XP Home

Many games require administrator rights to run under XP Home. I don't want to let kids to screw it up even by accident. I know I could solve it with Group Policy, etc. But it's not available in XP Home. So how can I limit my kids' users while still letting them play games

I use my admin account to install the games, then put icons on the desktop
in a gamer account that has the lowest possible security settings. Then,
when they want to play games, the log into the gamer account. I don't have
to worry then. It works for the games we have.
