Hello. You can fix this by using Add/Remove programs:

Go to Start
-> Control Panel
--> Add/Remove Programs
---> Add/Remove Windows Components
----> Double click Accessories and Utilities

You'll find two items in here, one of them has the calculator in and the
other has the games, just recheck (or uncheck and recheck) and OK/Next your
way out, Windows will then reinstall them. You may also be prompted for
your Windows CD.

Did this suddenly happen after you installed a program or something? Have
you run your anti-virus software, with the latest definitions, on your
system to make sure it is clean?

Otherwise, for the games, go into Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs, then
click the Add/Remove Windows Components in the left pane. With Accessories
and Utilities
highlighted on the first screen, click the Details button. Single
left-click Games in the next screen to highlight it, then again click the
Details button. On the resulting screen you can add or remove check marks
from any of the listed games.

The Calculator is located in %SystemRoot%\System32\calc.exe, so you can
create a shortcut to it by right-clicking anywhere you wish to make a
New/Shortcut.

I knew I shouldn't have taken that shower. ;-)

Good idea!

I'll put my laptop inside a clear plastic bag, and attach some
Styrofoam to it using duct tape in case I drop it on the tiles.

Duct tape of course is a reference to good ole Red Green, eh!

Cheers,
Jimmy.
