fxdisk/mbr doesnt work

in reference to the log on logg off loop problem i was suggested that if i have a win 98cd i can do fxdisk/mb
but it doesnt work in my cd as it gives an error sayin bad command or filenam
i have to use this as i dont have a winxp bootabl
plz help

Assuming that you have a floppy drive, go to www.bootdisk.com if you don't
have a startup disk and you can download a 98 floppy image that will have
fdisk on it.

Try removing the x.
It's fdisk.
