FX-55 stock and prices?

What the hell is going on with this chip?, it seems to be sold out
everywhere. In ONE DAY the price shot up from $879 to $1,009 at Newegg and
the in stock date keeps getting pushed back.

Can anyone explain what the hell is going on and why chips are sold out?, is
AMD deliberately keep it rare so as to push up the price?

Anyone know where chips might be for sale?

Indeed...god bless you, but like no good to me as i wanna get one also at
$879. No way i am paying $120 more for a CPU, to have it drop back down in
price the next day to $879.
