You probably know of many of the ridiculous error messages generated by MS
but this has to be the best. I was in moneycentral.msn.com working with my
portfolio and for an unknown reason I got this error message:

-------------------
Microsoft Money

An error occurred, but money ran out of memory trying to retrieve and
display details about what happened.
-------------------

I'm not joking. That was the whole thing. Maybe that's why it ran out of
memory; it couldn't think of anything else to say.

Not exactly "funny", but I found this error message quite interesting while trying to login to an existing passport account from a new Windows XP installation.

I got the following error in Outlook Express when I tried to open a
message:
There was an error opening this message.
An error has occurred.
(followed by an OK box)
Scratched my head, closed OE, restarted, and all was well.
(not quite funny enough to send to BackSpace at PC Magazine)
