Over the past year I've been going back and forth between my PC at home and
my MAC at work. Don't get me wrong...I love love love my PC; however, there
are two keys on my MAC that I have really enjoyed and hope there might be
some way to make my PC do the same thing.

QUESTION...

On my MAC if i press F12 (regardless of the application I'm using), it
minimizes all windows and just shows the desktop.
If I press F9, it shrinks and displays all open windows and allows me to
select the window in which I would like to work. When you click on the
window, it then activates and maximizes that window.

Is there a way to make my PC do the same thing. I don't care if it's the
same function keys.

I'm running windows XP Pro on a dell laptop.

On my MAC if i press F12 (regardless of the application I'm using), it

Windows key + D = Show the desktop.

Windows key + M = Minimize all windows.
If I press F9, it shrinks and displays all open windows and allows me to
select the window in which I would like to work. When you click on the
window, it then activates and maximizes that window.

Alt + Tab = Switch between open items.

thanks...the Win+D i didn't know and there are some neat shortcuts in the
help link you sent.

I've been using Alt+Tab, the advantage of the other is that it shows what is
going on in each window. If you would, keep your eyes open and if you see a
way to show all the windows at one time post please.

appreciate your help.

Right click a blank area of the taskbar and select one of the options for
displaying windows like cascade or tile.
