Does anybody know how to turn off the option in excel that limits th
visibility of the full menu items? You know how when you click o
"File" the menu only partially opens. You then have to click on th
two black little verticle arrows at the bottom of the menu screen t
fully expand the menu. This is the stupidest option in excel and ha
no real world use!!!!!! Ok I am over it now. Does anyone know how t
turn this off?

Thank-you

Hi

Go to View / Toolbars / Customise and there is an options tab (XL2K) which
has Personalised Menu settings.

Andy.

Direct form help:

Animate menus
1.. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2.. Click the Options tab.
3.. In the Menu animations list, click the menu animation you
want to use.

I agree with you!.

Go to Tools>Customize and select the Options tab. Uncheck the Menus Show
Recently Used First option.
