Hi,
What I want to achieve is to create a fully automated install of Windows XP
Professional, Office 2003 Professional and other software such as Norton
Antivirus. All this has to happen from a network share. And, my HDD's are
in NTFS.
Sysprep is not an option as all the computers have a different specification
and so as far as I am aware this is not recommended. I have experience with
UDF's and winnt.sif (unattend.txt)
Ideally, I should be able to walk to any computer in the office, insert a
floppy disk and the computer will automatically format C:\, then start the
WindowsXP installation from the network using an unattended script and then
install all the software. Including several reboots whilst installing
software.
In essense, if I wanted to be able to rebuild a machine, then I should
simply be able to boot from my floppy and 3 hours later everything is
sorted.
Anyone know of any good websites with a tutorial where I can start?
TIA
