Can anyone tell me how to set IE6 up for displaying
fullscreen at all times? Occasionally, I get it open up
as fullscreen but the next time it's opened it isn't
anymore. Is there anywhere to go to set it to open up as
fullscreen?

For a Maximum screen size, open IE in normal size and stretch to fill the
monitor "wall to wall". Do not use "maximize" to accomplish that, as that
setting is not retained. I'm not sure if there is a parameter that allows
for IE to run at Full screen at all times. The only option I know of that's
quick is to use F11 key to achieve Full Screen. F11 will also bring IE back
to your normal "default" size when pressed a second time.

ie has a memory feature that forces new windows to open as they were at the end of your last browsing session.

to make them open full screen..

1. open an ie windo
2. make it fullscree
3. open another ie windo
4. make it fullscreen as wel
5. close the 1st ie windo
6. close the 2nd ie windo

open a new ie window. it should open fullscreen

I don't think IE will "remember" *Full Screen* settings any more the it will
remember Maximum Screen Settings. It *will* retain last open window size,
but if a Maximum size is desired it must be left at the "restore size"
settings, and *stretched* to fill the display area, and then closed. There
is no need to open a second instance of IE to accomplish this. That size
will be retained. There are 3rd party apps that can also do this, but I
don't think they will retain *Full Size* Screen displays. There is a
distinct difference between that which is meant by Full Screen size and
Maximum Screen size.

i am aware of the differences betrween "full size" and "maximize

try the procedure. it works for me on win xp home, win xp pro and win me.

I suppose the OP might have been clearer (although it doesn't appear that
they are likely to "return") in asking which they wanted to accomplish when
they posted *Full Screen".

Perhaps that's the other distinction. Using W98se here; Doesn't seem to want
to do that.
