ftp to xp pro worstation

i want to set up a workstation at my bosses house and transfer files to him
on a regular basis. i have a ftp program i'm just having trouble connecting
to this workstation. can somebody guide me the right way??

The port used for FTP is a common port number (20 & 21) and may be blocked
by a firewall.

You also need the real IP address and or host name of the PC which may not
be visible over the net.

a VPN.
