I just did a Google Search: free ftp vista and came up with alot of free
ftp software for Vista, but since Vista hasn't been released to the public
yet, you probably won't get detailed info on the 64 bit yet.
I've been using SecureFTP (http://www.glub.com/products/secureftp/) on Vista
Business Edition without problems. Personally I like WS-FTP Pro better but
it is not free and the current version does not work well with Vista.

Obviously, you can just use Explorer. Show your address bar and type in
ftp:// followed by the ftp address. Works pretty well.
There is a serious bug, though. It can get confused if you try do delete a
directory with subdirectories (with devastating results, deleting files you
may not have intended). But for basic ftp operations, it works great.
