I am wondering if XP Pro has the capability to run an FTP Server. If so,
does anyone know of any documentation out there that provides information on
how to do this?

Alternatively, you can install a third party FTP server.

A couple choices include ServU and WarFTPD (there are much more, a google
search will reveal the many options that are available).

Thanks for the info Jack!! I think I read somewhere that XP Pro will only do
2 GB of space for a FTP Server. Is this true? Also, the first link you
provided doesn't appear to be working. I am planning on offering a picture
FTP for a recent group field trip, and was hoping to host about 30GB of
space. What would be your recommendations. Anyone else is free to post
their thoughts as well.

Thanks

Make sure you secure your FTP server. It is a very easy way for attackers to
compromise your system.

If the long links word wrap you may have to copy the second line and paste
it into the url. I don't like to use tinyurl or snipurl as I personally
won't click on any links that I can't see the full url.
