ftp.exe

I am having Windows xp SP1 as my OS. I wanted to install MSDN Apr
2007, but the minimum requirement for it is SP2.
But when i tried to install SP2, it is giving me a warning as ftp.exe
in use.
I was using Download Accelerator, so I un-installed but even then it
is giving me same error.
Wat could be the cause of the error and how to deal with it.
I dont want to format my system

Do help me out.

Hello,

Check in the task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Processes tab) for FTP.EXE and
end the process.

You may want to do a malware scan using SUPERAntispyware

ftp.exe is neither present in the Task Manager nor is in the msconfig
files.
