FTP Connect Help!!

I have been working on this for a little while. I have set up a FTP server
on a computer running Windows XP. When I try to connect, I get this error

Connected with Host - Waiting for welcome message...
Disconnected from the server - Unable to connect!

I am using Filezilla to connect to the FTP site

Any ideas?

2. provide detailed and accurate information
3. respond to those that have responded to you in the many other posts you have started
..... and then abandoned
