Ok, I'm stumpped. I had my ftp server out on the net for a short time 1 - 2 days. I had someone log into it (anonymously) I know stupid but they created tones of folders with Special Char in the names and the system will not delete the folders. There are files in them because I can go to properties of the folder and it is taking up tones of room but I can't remove the folders. Can anyone tell me how to delete folders that have Special Char in the name?

PS the system doesn't even really see them they are blank spaces. I thought maybe they were ASCII and tried the (ALT+255) for space etc but that didn't work

Help

Use 'dir /x' to get the short name and then try using the short name
to delete.
