Frontpage extentions

Hello,

If a server has 3.02 Frontpage extentions and I am using frontpage 2003, will 3.02 be sufficient and be compatable with FP 2003?

It depends upon which FrontPage 2003 features you are using that require extensions.

Specifically, Link Bars. An error box comes up with all my link bars.htm's saying your server does not support these features. To enable link bars, publish your site to a server running the latest version of Frontpage extensions.

I called my host and they said to call microsoft to see what extensions are needed for me to publish my site. Their highest power ext's are 3.02. I just picked up FP 2003 a week ago.

Frontpage 2003 has no new features requiring new server extensions therefore it
uses the Frontpage extensions for Frontpage 2002 - if your host has fully
installed and activated FP 2002 extensions, then your pages should work.

The 3.02 extensions are the FP98 extension. Your host need to upgrade to FP2002 extensions.
