Help - I have designed a site for a business and it needs to be operational
immediately - however, the designed page is not what is displayed when it is
uploaded - 90% of the site is OK - just 3 images in the wrong places - any
ideas?
Does using aol matter?
Also when viewed in aol, the original home page of the old site is still
there..am baffled...

Penny, I'm having a very similar problem. So hopefully we can both get help.
Same....business site that has been published, and needing to be operational
two weeks ago! I've edited some pages, but what I'm seeing in the preview
isn't what I'm getting when published again. One day I had a picture on a
page, and the next day it was gone! One and two line forms I've added, don't
show up published.

I'm even previewing, and it's all there, but not when you go to the site.
Can someone PLEASE help Penny and I?

I've contacted the server, and they don't seem to have a clue. I think it's

It would be very helpful to post public URLs for us to look at.

AOL caches webs, and it may take some time for changes to show up.

Doesn't seem as though Penny really needs her
site "operational immediately" since she doesn't come
back here to provide answers to questions asked by the
MVP's!

Rick,
You've missed the point of newsgroups. A user should be able to come here
post some vague question check back 10 minutes later and find the answer
that will make them a star, get them a promotion or at least give them code
written to their specs for free. Personally I've always thought checking
back is too much of an imposition on the poster - we really should email
answers directly to them :-)

or perhaps FedEx them a CD?
or are we all being a little testy lately ?
