Hello,
I have an ECS K7VTA3 MB. It has a set of 9 pins to plug LED connectors for HDD, Power/MSG, Power switch and Reset switch. Interestingly, the female Power/MSG plug which came with my case (it's a generic case I got from Newegg) is like this:
__________
| | | |
----------
1 2 3
It has 3 slots with 1st and 3rd connected to a green and white wire respectively. I can only put 1 & 2 (or probably 2 & 3) with the MB connectors. But then, the LED doesn't glow, b/c either cable #3 or #1 is not connected.
Anybody has similar problem? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Yes. Cut the connector in half, down position 2, so you have individual
pins and slide them on the right mobo pins.

I had the exact same thing on my ECS 848P-A mobo. What I did was to
(CAREFULLY!!) cut the connector in half so I could put the proper wires on
the proper pins.

Thanks much to all who replied. I will try that out.
