I hope someone can help. In FrontPage 2002 I cannot open
a web by typing in the http://myserver.com in the open web
option. I have no idea why this stopped working. I have
the Server Extension installed on my webserver. (It's not
local to my pc but hosted elsewhere.) I uninstalled FP2002
and reinstalled after rebooting but nothing is working.
This is the error message I get...
"The folder of http://myservername.com isn't accessible.
The folder may be located in an unavailable location,
protected with a password, or the file name contains a /
or \."

Have you host repair and or reinstall the extensions.

Also, does the site open in your browser??

Try using http://www.myserver.com instead

Was IISLockdown run on the hosting server?

Depending on the settings used to configure IISLockdown, Frontpage is prevented from working properly.

I am having the same problem. The host reinstalled the extensions, but it
still doesn't work. The site does open in my browser & I can also publish.
