HELP! My boss purchased a new laptop which was preloaded with Office 2003 (90
day trial version). He used the trial version until it expired this weekend
and now he has decided he likes Office 200 better because that is what he is
used to.

We have everything working in Office 2000 but have run into a problem with
Outlook. How do we get all his email from the time he was using outlook 2003
to now show up in outlook 2000? Is there any way? If you need further details
please let me know.

You need to set the clock back on the laptop so that OL 2003 will run again,
reinstall OL 2003, create an Outlook 97-2002 PST, copy everything in the OL
2003 PST to it, reset the clock, reinstall OL 2000, and open the old-style
PST.

Brian,

The Office 2003 came preloaded on the machine and we have uninstalled it.
How do I get it back? I checked the disks that came with the laptop and there
does not appear to be one for office 2003 trail version. Now what?

If it came preloaded, then there should be a system restore disk that came
with the PC that will reload the disk exactly as it was when you bought it.
Some PC vendors include actual reinstall CDs so that you don't have to wipe
everything, but only reinstall what you want.

Also, one more question...how do I create the outlook 2000 pst???

Assuming you have OL 2003 installed and operational, it's File>New>Outlook
Data File>Outlook 97-2002 Personal Folders File (.pst).
