From Me to XP

I did a full install from Me to Xp. Have I lost all the files that I used to
have ie. jpg's and a couple of resumes. Any info no matter how hard or
costly would be helpful
 
Clean installs do wipe out everything.. had you used a full retail or
upgrade version, your data would have been saved.. you could try this
program.. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/uk/welcome.htm but do not
expect 100% recovery.. that can never be guaranteed..

You could also use your backups to re-instate your lost data..

Depends on what you mean by full install. If you mean a clean install
then yes the info is gone. Always have a full and complete backup of
important data. You could try contacting a data recovery service but
know it the very costly with no guarantees.
