'From' field

It seems that when the 'from' field is selected, you can send a message to anyone from anyone you wish it to send from.

Is there anyway of restricting this so that users cannot select another user to add to the 'from' field apart from their own addresses?

Yes, this is the default. Sounds like you've got the wrong permissions set
on your Exchange database. The Send As property should only be set for SELF

When you open Exchange System manager; Servers-> Server Name-> Storage Group
Name-> right click Mailbox Store and press Security. Leave the security
settings as they are. See if there isn't a group listed there like Domain
Users or Everyone with Send As permissions. For best practises it is best
that you ask this question again in the Exchange newsgroup.
