From an outline, create an organizational chart

Boy, I thought I could do this with older versions of Office. I want to
create a very simple Org char. Super simple. I created an outline and don't
want to mess around with the boxes, etc... I remember when I could click on a
button, and one of the views was as an org chart. Am I dreaming?

Now I have to use the org chart drawing tool, but it never picks up what
I've already put in the outline. You can obviously create the proper
hierarchy in the outline. I just want it to display itself as an org chart
instead of a regular slide.

I've tried apply the org chart slide layout to the "current slide", but it
forces me to put in all the data again, it doesn't use the info I have in my
outline.

I don't recall this one in PPT but doesn't (didn't?) Visio have a feature like
this?
