from address wrong

Several times when I send an email to someone they
complain that the from address is wrong, The address
takes on the address of the isp. An example:

If my email address is 123@ 123 .com and I send to a
person with a road runner account the from address turns
into:

(e-mail address removed) or a variation of that.

Why?
 
You can set your From address in your Account settings. If you've set it up
correctly here contact your ISP.

(I changed my reply address; remove all CAPS and _underscores_ from the
address when mailing)
