Fresh Winxp install with adaptec u29320 host raid adapter problem

Can any help with a new installation of Winxp pro with my adaptec 29320 host
raid controller. My system includes a P4 3.06 intel processor, Asus P4C800
dx motherboard, 1gig corsair XMS cas 2 ram, ATI Raedon 9800 video card, two
seagate 36 gig u320 scsi hard drives. When I try to install winxppro, I
press F6 to install raid drivers(u320_hostraid_v101, pick winxp, I get an
error:

File \win2000\a320raid.sys caused an unexpected error18 at line 2108 in
D:\xpsp1\base\boot\setup\oemdisk c.

Has anyone else found a solutuion?

Are you trying the latest driver from the manufacturer? If not give that a
go.
