I have downloaded & installed the subject program available at:
http://www.freshdevices.com/freshdiag.html
It is a free utility designed to analyze and benchmark your computer
system. It tells me much more about my pc then Belarc Advisor does,
much of which I don't understand. :-) The only one of it's many
features that does not function is "Benchmarks". Apparently one has to
register for it to function, yet after filling out the online form no
reply is received with the registration code. Is anyone out there
using this program and were you able to register it?

Thanks

Glenn

Hi Glenn,
I've been using this program for some years now, and installed it on a
lot of machines. It's pretty good.
After registering I used to get an e-mail, about once every two weeks,
when there was an update. But since about half a year I don't get that
anymore, other people I've installed it don't get it either, and after
registering you don't get an answer.
But they still update their freeware. Very, very strange...
I'm afraid this doesn't help you very much. But you can use all of the
program, except the benchmarking, but there are enough free benchmarking
programs around.

Thank you Peter for your prompt reply. I wanted info on cooling and it
seems that it did get it. Under Sensors "Unable to retrieve info" and
"Unsupported chip detected". There is also info under
Motherboard>Cooling Device which I don't fully understand.

What Benchmarking program do you use?

Glenn

I have been using Fresh Diagnose and Fresh UI for a few months now.
Registration was a breeze, and I got my last email from them last
Friday (May 12, 2006)
Keep trying is all I can suggest

I don't use any benchmarking program, because now I can believe I have a
very, very, very, extremely fast computer. And when I start benchmarking
I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a very, very, very, extremely slow
computer, and than I'm going to be unhappy...
