The first. The comma is the decimal in French numerics and spaces are used
for 1000's separator.

dumb question not being french, but knowing some spanish... how do you
seperate decimals then if the decimal is the comma there? is it like this
8.000 000,00 ?

Hi Brian,

What is this number in english :)
8.00
or
8, 000, 000.00

in the former case it would be

8,00

in the latter
8 000 000,00

no :

8.000 / 8 000
100.000 / 100 000 000

But:
1 000,500
3 000 000 856,869 895
not 1.000,869 988
