I recently updated our WindowsXP and now, every 30-60 seconds, the computer will freeze for about five seconds, but then it's fine. I KNOW it was caused by this update. Can anyone help?

Hi

A Windows Update or 3rd party update? If the former, try here:

Hi

It's a link to the Windows Update News Group - if you are using Outlook
Express.

| Thanks for your response, but that doesn't seem to be a valid website that
you gave me. To answer your question, I believe it was a Windows Update
because it came from the official website. I ended up doing a system restore
because I was having so many problems after this update. I would like to do
the update, but before I try it again, I want to know if there is a way to
prevent the same thing from happening again.
