Freeware to converter rm files to wmv?

Maybe he/she doesn't want to download RealPlayer to play them because of
the "phoning home" etc. Also he/she may not have heard of Real
Alternative the independent .rm .ram player

The question was not why he/she wanted to convert rm files, the question
was why he/she wanted to convert to WMV.
AFAIK converting rm to wmv is not possible using freeware.
Tinra can convert to avi.

Because she already has Windows Media Player.
