Robotype lets you create abbreviations, and when you type in the
abbreviation and then a space, the abbreviation is replaced with the text
that the abbrevation stood for. You can use variables in the abbreviations.
For example, the following abbreviation:

%CENTURY%.%MONTH%.%DAY%.%HOUR24%%MINUTE%

would be replaced by

2005.06.07.1813

The problem is, sometimes Robotype replaces not only the abbreviation, but
also some of the preceding text - definitely a bug.

So my question is, is there a program out there like Robotype, that lets you
create abbreviations (including variables as shown above), which are
replaced with text after you type the abbreviations?

The lite version will not be very useful for long given this limitation "Maximum
of 15 ShortKeys" however the price of the full version is not too bad (but it is
NOT free)
