Any decent declickers/noise reducers? I have a noise reduction on my audio
editor but it is severely strong and not effective as it introduces its own
weird noises into the mix.

Hi dadiOH,

Thanks for the reply, in the end I found Exact Audio Copy EAC which is
pretty good for finding peak levels and dealing with pops etc.

cheers,
Pete.

I believe EAC only grabs audio from CDs, not LPs.

I'm looking for programs myself. However, MP3 is simply out because it's
a lossy medium. OK for popular music, but not for the best quality audio
that's a necessity for classical and most real jazz.

Exact Audio Copy looks like a possiblity. Anything else?

Then you will have to record to wave. The waves can be compressed about
50% in a non-lossy manner in various ways...APE, SHN, FLAC...
