Using Windows XP SP2

My laptop indicates that 40 gigs is used. I am actually surprised, and do
not believe, that 40 gig out of 80 gig is actually used. I have done all
the standard stuff to remove items not used, but that has not gained much
free space. Is there a better way? I don't know what it would be, a
sophisticated utility or something to really help me decide what should go
and what should stay to create more free space?

Please advise.

Thanks

Hi Bob, you fail to mention what other software you might have, and
stuff like mp3, photos etc... i run and 80 gig drive also and have only
apps and the OS on it and high graph. games and it chewed up abt 12 gig

folders in */windows etc.. else just search these posts there are some
really top guys/gals to help out.... oh ye don't mind someone called
Miss Perspicacia Tit or is it Tick... they do reply also however you

SequoiaView is an excellent free (and clean) utility helpful in tracking
down mysterious missing drive space.

It provides a one window graphical representation of which files are taking
up how much space where on a drive, often quickly and easily tracking down
files that Windows is reluctant to reveal.

(It's kinda fun too) :-)
