Is there a way that i could get the windows xp cd for
free? Or can someone send it to me, or through a email? I
would really appreciate it, thank you.

Legally? Highly unlikely.
"I would really appreciate it, thank you."
So would we all. Good luck.

I have a 180 day evaluation copy of windows xp Pro if it is any good to you.
I will send it to you by email. Is this the email address you want me to
send it to? I hope it is a fast connection as it will take 2 or 3 days to
send it as an attachment by 56k modem.

Would anyone care to estimate the time?

You can make a copy of someone else's WinXP CD but it will NOT install nor
work on your PC.

RUBBISH! Of course it will install and work. And if you wait 120 days from
activation of the original copy, then you will probably be able to activate
it on line as well.

Are you talking about an OEM version or retail??? Neither will install nor run on a second PC without permission from MS.

There are no "free" versions of Windows XP. You'll have to
purchase your copy, just like everyone else.

You are so full of BS. I installed my copy of XP onto my
wifes PC without any problems of activation or getting
updates. Oh yea it was after 120 days and it was a
generic MS OEM cd. so Byte me.

CT;
He probably worded it wrong.
However you did violate the agreement you agreed to if you installed
the single license on two computers at the same time.
