Free space marked as allocated in the volume bitmap.

Chkdsk showing free space marked as allocated in the volume bitmap. I have written to many forums about this and to Microsoft and have never received an answer I have lost 20 GBs of hard disc due to this.
 
So, repair it! chkdsk c: /f - reboot to run!

chkdsk reports the following after running with fix, and then just read only : windows found problems with the file system. 39 gb partition size of whi ch 27 gbs used in 42824 files.
