Hi to all!!
Can anyone give a good proxy software FREE!

Wait your kindly reply!

Best regards /Radu Dumitrascu

I need ... a server that acts as an intermediary between a workstation
user and the Internet.
Also I can ensure security, administrative control, and caching
service...a gateway!

A Linksys router may be the easiest way to do what you need. Exactly
what do you need? Caching what? Administering what? How much
security? (Security costs, and there's no such thing as absolute
security short of turning the computer off, disconnecting the drives
and hiring an armed guard to watch the safe you keep them in.)

He can be paid off :)

Oops. Guess I'd better keep my tinfoil hat on, then. :)

Best, there is no absolute security and I'm fairly sure there is only the
illusion of any security.

The best Internet proxy security we have is Tor.Tor onion routes but who
made Tor? The Office Of Naval Intelligence.

Do I trust them? Do I trust DARPA not to have created Arpa/Internet without
having their "way" with it?

did a long, slinky legged blonde of 25 just blow me until i came six
straight times? In five minutes.?

The true is that I need a free software proxy to see only some reports
ip/web pages access/time...something like this...no more!
We have a router with firewall; we have the security in place! But we
don't like this reports...and so we decide to put a proxy server (a
free one) that can give us this reports.

Your hosts file can do that. It might get a bit large though, if you
want to block all but, say, 1,000 sites.

Once that hosts file gets that large, I have seen serious performance
degradations. Could be machine dependent.
