I created a disposable email service (and a public login database)
http://www.dontreg.com - to help people fight against spam , and i am
searching for testers... so please if you have 10 minutes and you feel
ambition to help me to make dontreg.com better please take a look at my
site... any suggestions / ideas / bug reports / linguistic error
reports ( as you probably noticed my english is not the best ) are
welcome...

If you feel that this post doesn't belongs here, please just ignore it
and : SORRY.

....thanx in advance for your help.

Haven't really tried it, but read the FAQ. I appreciate that you offer
a free service to fight spam. I like that you don't have to register,
but what if more people use the same email adress at the same time?

I think overall www.spamgourmet.com has a better concept concerning
disposable mails.

Thanks anyways

Lars

spamgourmet's solution is "different" but not necessarily "better".
it's more complicated than mine. they offer email forwarding, and you
need to give them an email address, the usage of their service is much
more complicated than usage of dontreg.com. i don't say taht it's not a
good service, use it if you need a complex solution, but if you don't,
for example you need a disposable email addres just for registration
dontreg.com is a better solution . in case of http://www.dontreg.com
you don't need to give any personal data. i personaly don't like email
forwarding solutions that's why i created my own service. i've seen
similar solutions, but i always missed something...

(sorry for my English...)

I agree that your service is easier to use, but it also very limited in
where you can use it. I don't neccessarily want to have other people be
able to see data for an account I just registered and be able to use
it. Anyways I guess it is a matter of personal preference in the end.
People who absolutly don't want to register anything it is probably the
better solution.

For your public login database I suggest that you try to get a firefox
extention done, like the one for www.bugmenot.com.

I like @mytrahsmailcom to build email addresses for regestering. All I
need to do is put a word in front of @mytrashmail.com. I then have a
usable address. No registering or visiting the site unless I want to
retreave my email.

The concept is the same at www.dontreg.com , only it hasn't that many
ads, and the HTML mail display is better ;) + few other things like
LOGIN DATABASE... read the "faq" to learn more.
