Free cell

Computer confusion

All of a sudden when you open free cell, the window will only open (at full
screen) half a page vertically. It will not fill the screen. Is there a way
i can fix this. I plan on giving this laptop to my parents and the full
screen would be great. I checked the other games, spider solitare and
solitare and they work fine.
 
Pressing the "maximize" button in the top right corner of the window does
not fix this?
