free audio recorder software?

I am looking for free audio recorder software that can capture the audio
through sound card to audio file (e.g. MP3, WAV, etc...)? I found some, but
most of them only record limited length.

Audacity is a free audio editor http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
CDex is a free CD-ripper and audio converter that also has a recording feature.
http://www.cdex.n3.net/
Neither have any time limits.
