We are testing user profile compatibility for an NT 4.0 to Windows XP Pro migration and have stumbled across something strange
When logged on with a test account (after re-creating the user profile from a basic one), I found myself staring at about 60 or so icons on my desktop. They were called 'frdXXX.tmp' (where X is a combo of numbers and letters)
After searching a bit, I was only able to determine that this was related to Folder Redirection. Is there any information anywhere about the contents of the files? or why they showed up
I deleted them, tried to replicate what I did, and to no avail, they are gone. However, I would like to find out more about this occurance so my users dont have to experience this after the deployment...
