Mea culpa.

The FrameViewer was a commercial product. As the Margrave noted, the
FrameReader product, which is freely available is Mac only.

Apparently the FrameViewer was a commercial product and only a patch is
available. As the Margrave noted, there's also the FrameReader product,
which is Mac only and I believe used to be free, but I'm not seeing a
download link for that --- might be you could find it w/ a filesearch

Used to be that you could d/l frameviewer from www.frame.com, but that
was a long while ago.

So, either export a .pdf, or use the trial version, or switch to
something free like LyX.
