Just wondering what makes fragments from the internet show up on the Windows
screen ? I click out of the internet and on Windows there will be a patch
of the internet left in the screen. Only way to get rid of it will be to
click back onto the internet and then back out again. Some type of glitch or
something. It's usually when I go onto a site like a lottery site with the
moving "ticker tape" bar or a game site. Is there anyway to get this to
stop?

Either you have malware installed. (remove it with AdawareSE, freeware
from Lavasoft) Or you have incorrect video drivers installed and need to
replace them with the correct ones found at the website of video card
manufacturer.

I do have Adaware and Spybot and more, so you may be right about the video
cards. I just wouldn't know what is the right one and what is wrong. Can
you tell me what to look for please.

You need an application that can recognize your system. A really good one is Aida32 but the maker of that
has retired it. Maybe someone else can suggest a better alternative.

Anyway that will tell you your video card and you can then find the drivers for it. But in all likeihood
Windows 2000 installed the correct drivers for the card when it was installed.

There is another way native to Windows. Go to right-click My Computer | Manage | System Information |
Hardware Resources | IRQ. You should see your video card maker in that assuming of course that
Windows 2000 recognizes them.

Thank you again George Hester for answering my question and I did find my
video card and it does recognize it. Thanks again.
