Using the Substitue Componenet I am able to get Page URL, Author, Modified By
to work, but Description gets the following error:

(1) A FrontPage Substitution component references substitution parameter
"description", but the parameter is not set for the page or web.

Anyone have any solutions for this?

thanks, steve

Set the needed parameter.

The Description is a META tag in each page. Are you saying that
"Description" is a site-level description of the web site? If it is a
site-level setting it isn't much use.

You can use different descriptions for each page but not by using the
substitute component.
If that is what you want, remove the parameter description and add the
meta tag description in each page.

This is getting confusing. The description META tag is in all my pages.
Then, I used the Substitution Component and chose "description" thinking it
would grab the description out of each page and place it in the visible area
of the page like it does for the other substitution components.
